Greetings from the Section Manager! Nearly Spring in Iowa!
Good to see a lot of folks turn out for the Winter RF Fest, Feb 28 atthe National Guard Armory in Perry, Iowa. Hiawatha Amateur Radio Club
sponsored this first-of-the-year Hamfest with many sale tables, forums,
food, coffee and a great turn-out. Thanks to all who planned, organized,
executed and attended. See you next year!

Changes for Daylight Savings Time:
The Iowa Traffic and Emergency Net meets on Sundays on 3970 kHz LSB at
6PM starting today 3/13
The Iowa 75 M Net meets twice daily Monday through Saturday at 12:30 and
5:30 PM on 3970 kHz LSB
**Our Net Control stations and hams across Iowa and several from
surrounding states welcome you to join us on the Iowa nets**

Clubs in Iowa will be learning about new grants coming available in the
near future. You will be contacted as soon as the information is made
available. We will be sending reminders and updating club contact
information to make our Clubs accessible to all.

Storm Spotter Training through the National Weather Service SKYWARN(R)
program is back in-person and offering some on-line training. This
training is valuable to Amateurs active in providing timely and accurate
weather observations that assist in keeping our communities safe. Use
